The Mary Gates Research Scholarship award is intended to enhance undergraduate education at the University of Washington by providing financial support while the scholar is engaged in research guided by a faculty member. As a Mary Gates Scholar, Amanda joins a unique community of other leaders, researchers and alumni. Amanada shall present her work at the annual Undergraduate Research Symposium to be held on May 19.
