Catherine Chia awarded the UW Presidential Freshman Medal

The UW President selects one student from each class based on their GPAs, rigor of classes, numbers of Honors courses and interdisciplinary research in the honors track.  This year, Catherine Chia was awarded the Freshman Medal.  Catherine Chia studies biochemistry, neuroscience and anthropology and conducts research in our lab on the development of a point-of-care test for hepatitis C.  We are so honored to work with Catherine and proud of her recognition.
