Arif Abdullah joined our lab as a postdoctoral scholar. He will work on on Soft MEMS Tactile Sensors. This project focuses on the development of an instrumented hand for inspection and handling of sensitive devices such as explosives. This project will enable next-generation tactile sensing and interaction of objects, both visible and hidden, for robot operators to locate, identify, and neutralize objects and threats on land and in the sea.
